High Frequency Words

High frequency words are words that children usually do not learn to sound out at first. They memorize the spelling of them. Every week, your child will have new high frequency words to learn. Be sure to keep practicing the old high frequency words also, because your child will see them a good bit in the stories that we will be reading.

  High Frequency Word Tips
Practice these words with your child by writing them on index cards and "flashing" them to your child.
